Annapurna Puja at the MathSPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES
The evening vesper service at the temple is attended by local people. Besides, discourses are held at the temple everyday after the vesper service. Birth Anniversary tithi pujas of Bhagaan Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are held according to the Vishuddha Siddhanta Panjika and schedule of Ramakrishna Math, Belur.

Auspicious occasions in the calendar of the Ramakrishna Order like Maha Shivratri, Christmas Eve, Sri Krishna Janmashtami are celebrated with due solemnity. Special worships are held on the Ashtami of Sri Sri Durga Puja, Sri Sri Shyama Puja and Annapurna Puja. The Math organizes Devotee Conventions and Youth Conventions as a regular programme every year.

Charitable Homeopathic Dispensary

MEDICAL ACTIVITIES
The Math runs a Charitable Homoeopathy Dispensary on a regular basis every day where around 2,000 patients are treated and provided medicines totally free of cost round the year. Once in a month patients receive opthalmological treatment free of charge in the Eye Clinic held.

The medical service rendered at the Math since its inception has proven to be beneficial for the local population especially the poor of the area where to get medical attention one has to travel to nearby towns of Contai or Tamluk.

Free Coaching ClassEDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
A Free Coaching Centre is conducted regularly for poor and needy school students from classes V to IX to help those who otherwise do not have the means to take guidance in their lessons. At present about 115 students avail this opportunity. They are also provided free morning tiffin every day they attend. Computer Training is provided free to students attending coaching from class V upto class VIII once a week. Books and educational materials are distributed free to desrving students of schools, colleges and universities. Poor but brilliant students are provided with Scholarships to assist them to carry on with their studies. Bi-cycles are ditributed free to poor students. There is a free library and reading room which the students can use. Every Sunday afternoon, there is a Yoga Training class held for the students of the Coaching Centre.

Distribution of BlanketsSOCIO-ECONOMIC AND WELFARE ACTIVITIES
Under the self supporting scheme undertaken by the Math, poor women are selected and given sewing and tailoring machines. The women are encouraged to take training in tailoring work and then take to the profession of tailoring, thereby earning from their homes and are trained to become self-reliant. Sarees and dhotis are distributed to the poor and destitute people of the remote villages. Blankets are distributed amongst the poor and needy beneficiaries at the onset of the winter season. The area is prone to floods during the monsoons. During flood and other natural calamities, the Math conducts distribution of relief material amongst the affected residents of remote villages.
